Because it’s injected directly into the penis, it works independently of arousal and nerve signaling, which is why results are so consistent. That said, individual results vary. Response depends on the underlying cause of your ED, your overall health, and finding the right dose — which is why your prescription includes a titration protocol to dial in what works for you. Most men find their effective dose within the first few injections. Just like any local brick and mortar pharmacy, we can’t accept returns or issue refunds on dispensed medication. TriMix is compounded specifically for you, and we don’t guarantee a specific treatment outcome, but our prescribers will work with you on dosing adjustments to get the best possible result.

Do you prescribe phenylephrine injections for prolonged erections or priapism?

Common side effects include mild pain or burning at the injection site, prolonged erection, and minor bruising. The most serious risk is priapism (an erection lasting more than 4 hours), which requires immediate medical attention. Proper dosing and technique minimize these risks.

Do I have to commit to auto refill?

No. Every plan is fully flexible — pause, delay, reschedule, or cancel whenever you want, right from your patient portal or with a quick message to our team. Your next refill date is always shown on your portal and in every confirmation email, and you’ll get an email and text before anything processes, so there are never surprises. Refills run every 25 days on monthly plans and every 85 days on quarterly, timed so your next supply arrives before you run out. The only ask: make changes at least 48 hours before the refill date shown so we can pull the order before the pharmacy fills it. Full flexibility, full transparency — you’re always in control. One note for injectables like TriMix: per FDA/USP guidelines, vials have a 28-day beyond-use date once punctured. Our plans have been priced to ensure you never have to choose between safety and affordability.

What's in TriMix? What is the dosing?

RespondWell uses the T-105 formulation: • Papaverine 30mg • Phentolamine Mesylate 1mg • Prostaglandin E1 10mcg Compounded by Hallandale or Olympia Pharmaceuticals. A 1-month supply is 5 mL; a 3-month supply is 15 mL (three 5 mL vials). Standard dosing protocol — your prescriber may adjust this: Inject 0.05–0.10 mL at the base of the penis before sexual activity. Increase by 0.025–0.05 mL based on response. Wait at least 48 hours before repeating or increasing the dose. Maximum 0.50 mL per dose; no more than 3 doses per week.

Do you offer other formulations like Super TriMix, BiMix, QuadMix, or T-106?

Our standard formulation is T-105 TriMix (papaverine 30 mg / phentolamine 1 mg / PGE1 10 mcg per mL), and it’s the only one we prescribe for new patients. T-105 is a well-established, balanced formula that works for the vast majority of men, and standardizing on it lets our prescribers fine-tune your results through dosing adjustments rather than switching formulas. It also means our pharmacy compounds it at higher volume, which keeps quality consistent and pricing lower. Super TriMix (papaverine 30 mg / phentolamine 2 mg / PGE1 40 mcg per mL) is available on special request only. It contains four times the alprostadil (PGE1) and twice the phentolamine of T-105, and it’s priced at $249 per 5 mL vial. It is not an option for first-time patients — your prescriber will only consider it after you’ve titrated through T-105 per protocol without an adequate response. Super TriMix is also not available for shipment to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Hawaii, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, or Mississippi. We do not offer BiMix, QuadMix, or T-106.

Answer a secure health questionnaire about your ED history, medications, and medical background. It takes about 5–10 minutes. 2. Licensed provider review. A U.S.-licensed clinician reviews your intake — typically within 4 hours — to confirm TriMix is medically appropriate for you. If more information is needed, they'll message you directly through your patient portal. 3. Compounded and shipped. If approved, your prescription is sent to one of our partner compounding pharmacies. Your medication ships via free UPS Next Day Air in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging, along with ultra-fine needles, syringes and alcohol swabs. 4. Ongoing support. Message your care team anytime through the patient portal. Refills are handled automatically on your schedule, and you can pause or cancel at any time.
